The Decorated Apparel Expo (DAX) 2025 in Nashville was a significant event for Anatol. It provided a unique opportunity to connect with screen printing professionals in an intimate, focused setting. The event took place at the Farm Bureau Exposition Center on May 9–10. It focused on education, hands-on demonstrations, and meaningful one-on-one interactions.
Anatol’s Featured Equipment
At Booth 407, Anatol presented equipment for both new and established screen printing businesses:
- VOLT S (6 Station / 5 Color): This all-electric automatic press drew attention for its precision and efficiency. Attendees appreciated its quiet operation and the removal of pneumatic components, simplifying maintenance and reducing energy costs.
- SED-2404 Mini Conveyor Dryer: Ideal for small to mid-sized shops, it offers reliable curing performance. Its digital temperature controls and adjustable belt speed allowed for flexibility across various substrates and ink types.
- Comet Flash Cure Unit: Offered fast, even curing, ideal for multi-color designs and faster production.
- Formulator Ink Mixers: These mixers showcased efficient and uniform ink preparation, ensuring color consistency and reducing waste.
Engaging with the Screen Printing Community
The smaller scale of DAX Nashville fostered an environment where meaningful conversations thrived. Attendees, ranging from novices to seasoned printers, engaged directly with Anatol representatives, discussing specific challenges and exploring tailored solutions.
“The intimate setting helped us focus on individual needs. We provided personalized demonstrations and in-depth discussions, which are often challenging at larger shows.”
This atmosphere encourages open dialogue, with visitors feeling comfortable to ask questions and seek advice without hesitation.
Professional Testimonials
We interviewed professionals like Cameron from Xpressive Apparel, who came from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. When asked about the Anatol dual station heat press that his company has owned for well over a decade he said:
“Back then we were doing vinyl transfers, now we do direct-to-film. The press has worked flawlessly for fifteen years. We’ve never had any issues with it, and we use it every day.”
Cameron also touched on his experience with his all-electric automatic press:
“I have a 7/8 Volt, and we’ve had it for about 5 years.”
Just like with his heat press he highlighted the fact that it is used daily year after year with no issues.
Gelena Dearwood spoke with Duane Serfass of Nashville Screen Printing. Duane was asked about his experience going from manual to automatic, and he mentioned:
“Well it’s automatic for one. This is the first Automatic we’ve gotten—I used to be a manual printer for years, and it was a big step. We have the 6/8 which fits perfectly in a two-car garage. It is small enough to fit and still allows for you to move around.”
He also talked about the intricate details of printing things like bar codes. Duane mentioned:
“The first print is as good as the last, and I can’t say enough about it.”
We take great pride in working with individuals like Cameron and Duane and are always thrilled to hear that our equipment has stood the test of time.
A Positive Experience for All
Feedback from the event highlighted the benefits of its scale and organization:
- Convenience and Accessibility: Easy parking and a manageable venue size made the experience pleasant for attendees and exhibitors alike.
- Vendor Support: DAX offered refreshments and cared for vendors, improving the overall experience.
- Focused Interactions: The absence of overwhelming crowds allowed for deeper engagement and more meaningful connections between vendors and attendees.
